Marketing ethics

This course will enable marketers in the future to formulate individual directions regarding customary marketing, as the ethically oriented function of marketing will be taken into account by exploring the issues and problems surrounding the issue of consumer protection, shareholder accountability, and globalization. Also, through the analytical scenario of the method through which ethical decision-making is made for marketing management, this will be planned (developing plans for that).

Trade promotion

This course aims to introduce the student to the concept of commercial promotion and its importance within marketing activity, while clarifying its complementary relationship with other elements of the marketing mix (product, price, distribution). This course also aims to study and analyze the nature of commercial promotion as a persuasive communication process and the mechanisms through which it works. It also aims to study the administrative aspects of promotional activity, including planning recreational efforts and designing advertising campaigns. Within this context, it aims to develop the student’s skills and abilities necessary for this. In addition, this course will give special importance to studying and analyzing the different methods of commercial promotion, and within this context it aims to study commercial advertising in terms of its nature, characteristics and effects. Commercial advertising, personal selling, public relations and means of sales promotion will also be studied, while providing the student with the skills of choosing the most appropriate promotional method.

Agricultural marketing

This material aims to identify the elements of the agricultural marketing mix in addition to the problems and obstacles facing marketing people in this field. This material also deals with presenting an analysis of local and Arab experiences in the field of marketing agricultural products. Finally, this material includes identifying the opportunities available in the field of agricultural marketing for Jordan compared to other countries.

Tourism and hotel marketing

This course aims to introduce the student and provide him with the basic concepts of tourism marketing, focus on the importance of tourism marketing and its development, and provide the student with knowledge in the field of marketing applications in the field of tourism and building appropriate marketing strategies. It also introduces the student to the decisions and policies related to the marketing mix in the field of tourism, giving examples of the tourism reality in the Hashemite Kingdom and other developed countries.

Product planning and development

Product Planning and Development Marketing Research: This course aims to introduce the student to what marketing research is and its importance for making marketing decisions and to provide him with a conceptual framework for the scientific marketing research process in addition to introducing him to the tools used in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data. It also aims to introduce the student to the measurement process in marketing research and methods of collecting marketing data. It also aims to provide the student with the skills of conducting experimental research in marketing. In addition, it aims to provide the student with some statistical skills and knowledge, such as the use of samples and the method of determining the appropriate size for them. It also aims to introduce the student to the methods of reviewing, classifying and analyzing marketing data and advanced analysis methods such as variance analysis and regression. . . etc. It also aims to introduce research into goods and services development and new product innovation research, in addition to consumer research and consumer patterns

Consumer behaviour

This course aims to provide students with the basic concepts and principles of consumer behavior as it is the fulcrum from which the marketing plan starts when developing its marketing program and policies. It also aims to explain how internal and external factors affect consumer behavior, whether an individual, family, industrial or commercial institution. It also aims to address and analyze the impact of many factors on the behavior of individuals and families, and thus productive and marketing institutions. This also includes identifying the marketing and promotional contents of many concepts and topics, such as sensory perception, learning, personality, attitudes and changing them, reference groups, families, social class, dissemination of inventions, and others. It also specifically aims to identify the determinants of the behavior of individuals, families, and institutions in light of the transformation of the economy from the form of a command economy to a market economy, through analyzing and treating practical cases of behavior in this or that field.

Pricing policies

The goal of this course is to introduce students to one of the most important factors related to the marketing mix, as the issue of pricing is very precise and critical that affects the success of any product or service. The course will give students studying it a solid background regarding the different methods of pricing and the different approaches to this topic as well as determining when we can impose a specific pricing policy and under what circumstances this is done.

Contemporary issues in marketing

This course aims to provide students studying in the marketing major with contemporary issues in marketing and in the light of practical practice. It also aims to explain and interpret specific marketing problems from the reality of the local environment and link them to scientific marketing concepts and according to environmental developments.

Marketing principles

This course aims to provide students with the basic concepts of marketing in addition to clarifying the impact of various environmental factors on marketing activities and events in public and private institutions. This course also addresses the presentation of the elements of the marketing mix (commodity, price, distribution, and promotion) in their various dimensions and the importance of marketing research and marketing information systems for building marketing policies and programs for the institutions concerned. This course also explains in general the impact of various internal and external factors on the behavior of the final consumer. Finally, this course presents the principles and basics of international marketing in light of the market economy and the international trade agreement
