This course covers topics in correlation and linear and multiple equations, calculation and interpretation of variance and related measures, fundamental principles in experimental design and analysis, and methods for distinguishing among treatment means including orthogonal contrasts and DMRT, LSD, Turky's W, and other methods. It also introduces students to using computers in statistical analysis

Study of the main animals used in human nutrition research and how they are used and sampled, as well as their reproduction and husbandry and their dietary needs, and study of the various experiments conducted on these animals for nutritional assessment or to estimate human nutrient needs, with consideration of ethical and welfare aspects
