Microbiology for nursing students
Study of microorganisms in terms of structure, methods of reproduction, classification and genetic aspects, with a focus on disease-causing species and clarifying the mechanism of action of antibiotics on their growth and reproduction.
General life sciences
The role of water in the cell, large molecules in the living cell, the structure of the living cell, the cell membrane, metabolism, cellular respiration and photosynthesis, the cell life cycle, meiosis and sexual reproduction, heredity and Mendel’s laws, the chromosomal basis of heredity, the molecular basis of heredity, from gene to protein, and techniques of genetic material.
General life sciences for nursing
Study of the structure and function of large molecules in a living cell, structure of a living cell, metabolism and cellular respiration, cell life cycle, meiosis and sexual reproduction, principles of genetics, study of the circulatory, nervous, and reproductive systems, as well as nutrition, excretion, and immunity.
Cell biology
Study of the structure and function of small and large organelles in the living cell (ribosomes, Golgi apparatus, lysosomes, mitochondria, chloroplasts, endoplasmic reticulum, study of the structure and function of the cell membrane, structure and function of the nucleus and its contents, replication of genetic material, construction of proteins, regulation of gene function.
Human biology
This course presents the basic concepts in anthropology and links them to human health and diseases. It focuses on the structure and function of living cells, metabolic processes, cell reproduction, human genetics, and the study of the various organs and systems of the body (circulatory, muscular, skeletal, reproductive, nervous, digestive, and excretory systems) and the diseases that may affect these systems.
Microscopic preparation
Training on methods of preparing various microscopic slides of plant and animal tissues, including smears and various histological preparations, and studying the theoretical aspects behind all the steps involved in preparation and the materials used for this purpose.
Zoology
Study of the morphology of invertebrates and vertebrates: cnidarians, cnidarians, worms, insects, arachnids, echinoderms, hemichordates, various types of fish, frogs, reptiles, birds and mammals, dissection of a model from each phylum of animals: anatomy of an earthworm, anatomy of a cockroach and a locust, anatomy of a fish, anatomy of a lizard and a rabbit to examine the digestive, blood, respiratory, and organ systems. Reproductive/urinary, as well as kidneys, examination of slides for the body structure of worms, amphioxus, phlegms, some larvae and micro-parasitic animals
botany
A theoretical study of the cellular, tissue and organic structure of non-vascular and vascular plants, as well as life cycles and environmental adaptations, and the most important economic aspects of them.
Genetics
This course includes studying the basics of traditional genetics, the mechanisms of transmitting various hereditary traits in eukaryotic organisms, the synthesis of genes, their isolation and cloning, their replication and methods of regulating their work, genetic mutations and the mechanisms of their occurrence and their genetic impact on the organism, genes (genes) and the characteristics they inherit and the resulting diversity of living organisms in theory and practice.
Animal physiology
This course includes studying the mechanism of operation of the various body systems (respiratory, digestive, nervous, reproductive, and renal systems) and how their functions are regulated in mammals, with an emphasis on the human body.
